Dr. Kim Tolar received her doctorate of dental surgery from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 1998. Her dental career started in 1991 when she received a bachelor of science degree in dental hygiene. Dr. Tolar graduated both dental programs at the top of her class. She received numerous academic awards and recognitions. Dr. Tolar is a member of the American Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association and New Orleans Dental Association. She has been named by The New Orleans Magazine as a top dentist in the New Orleans area.
Dr. Nasworthy is excited to become a part of Tolar Family Dentistry in New Orleans. From Swainsboro, Georgia, Dr. Nasworthy’s journey in dentistry began with his undergraduate studies at Georgia Southern University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. After working in research at the Medical College of Georgia, he furthered his education at the Dental College of Georgia, earning his Doctorate of Dental Medicine. He then worked for several years as a general dentist in Charlottesville, Virginia. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the New Orleans Dental Association.
Outside the dental office, Dr. Nasworthy enjoys spending time with his wife and son. Although Southern culture is not new for the Nasworthy family, they are having fun learning about and exploring all of the things that make New Orleans unique.
Dr. Nasworthy is looking forward to starting his new adventure with Dr. Tolar and the team at Tolar Family Dentistry.
